They sure did. The EPA came in and shut them down, confiscated all the "Race" tuners they had and hit them with a very large fine. Not a good day at all. There is now a disclaimer that must be agreed to when purchasing emissions delete tuning that releases liability for most all companies now that sell that type of tuning because of that. That same type of thing is why Quadzilla performance closed their doors altogether.

So even though they were sold as "For Off-Road Use Only" folks had to then sign a disclaimer. I'm sure that put a stop to the problem lol

That's what had to happen if folks wanted to delete emissions for sure. Otherwise the businesses would be shut down altogether. No one placing orders has had a problem with it to date because they fully understand the reasoning. What's truly sad is that with the clean tuning they are doing now, they actually burn as clean without the EGR, PCV and DPF with most tunes. Just like in the video, sure there is a puff of black at the first throttle push, but that's it.

It really makes you wonder why none of the Big 3 (soon to be Big 5) aren't doing this, now? I've always been a huge Super Duty fan and in all honesty, if they didn't make the Raptor, I'd probably have a lifted SD now.

They did a good job and it didn't take all that long. They had it down to a science. Also id you look carefully they did take the bed bolts out and everything. They really did a good job.
