Finished the install Wednesday. About 1/2 of my GoPro video clips won’t import properly into my phone so video is delayed until I can figure that out.

A few notes/tips from the install:

1. An extra pair of hands is extremely helpful when feeding the welded nuts into the frame. I used a smaller bolt to trap the nut inside the frame then had my wife thread the bolt in while I held everything from inside the frame.

2. The Forged Offroad kit reuses the OEM rubber bumpstop bolt which I didn’t have (because I had the ICON spacers installed which required a longer bolt.) so I pick up a pair of grade 8 bolts / lock nuts at Lowe’s to accommodate.

3. MAKE SURE, again, MAKE SURE you install the crossbar into one side of the bumpstop brace BEFORE putting the other brace on. Ask me how I know….. really though I installed both bump braces THEN tried to install the cross brace, you can’t. I had to remove the passenger side brace and reinstall after installing the cross brace.

4. When installing the axle strike plates, make sure you line up the leaf pack centering bolts before letting the leaf springs back down. Took me a few tries before figuring out what I was doing wrong.

All in, the install was about 4 hours total. 1 hour last night and 3 hours today.View attachment 167370View attachment 167371View attachment 167495View attachment 167496

are those 3.0’s out back? I was thinking about running some with my svc bumps but was worried about the extra bump travel maxing the shocks. Did you see any issues?

Same question here. Wondering how are these gen2 shocks fit. I also have SVC bumps and Deaver+2. Fox 3.0 at the front, thinking to upgrade rear now.

Had a good friend build me a frame cut front bumper over the weekend. Buttoning up the skip plate on Wednesday and adding 1 more BD squadron Spot beam in the middle of the other 4 squadrons. He ended up having extra .240 wall tubing from a previous build so he used that to make this, super strong. This hobby sure is a money pit, loving the look though.

Replaced the other whining idler pulley and spent 5 hours detailing it.

I replaced the front shocks today, courtesy of TSW, did their full treatment, Bravo settings, I didn’t have the change the perch because they charge $60 just to do that. But once the shocks got here, I changed to MID perch, super easy

I also ordered Geiser springs. I forgot to take before pics, but I took “after pics”
For some reason my pics of the truck with the wheels on is not able to load, I’ll take new ones tomorrow

overall it’s raised up a good amount abs the drive now is awesome

Yeah I’m really happy with the ride, I thought the TSW Bravo valving might be a bit harsh especially on mid perch but it’s way nice and I love how much it lifted. Next purchase is either 35”s or a different bumper
