these
CrystaLux XHP Series LED Headlight Bulbs (H13) for Ford F-150 (2004-2014) - 4x4TruckLEDs.com
from a vendor here

probably not too many first gens running around with halogens anymore but if you are you should give these a look. read a good review on f150forums so i thought id give em a try. much brighter than the sylvania silverstars i had in there

Looks like a good price on them. Do you know if they offer lower Kelvin temp bulbs? I didnt see any alternatives listed on the website. I just cant wrap my head around the Blue/white looking LED headlights for daily driver duty.

From Northern tool. I finally got rid of my Swing case and got this instead. It isnt as tall or as deep as the swing case was, but it holds everything I need to keep with me for an emergency roadside repair. And its NOT plastic :flipthebird: Should hold up nicely to off roading too.

I had 2 of these, they don’t hold up well I’m afraid. I ended up welding a 3/8” square bar exo skeleton to them to stop them from completely destroying themselves. They will bend at the front around the door, the draw runners will fail, and the locks will break. TBH I’d return them if you can.

Good to know. I already have it mounted, and 95% of my driving is on road, so I'm going to give it a shot. Its still day & night better built than the swing case it replaced.
After reading your post, I may make an angle bracket to bolt the top corner of the box to the bed side upright. The more flex I can take out of it, the better it should hold up (I think). Suppose time will tell.

Well starting off 2018 right. Asked me about the front license plate missing too. Yeah like I am going to cover up the Baja Designs.

Good thing he let you go, that could’ve been a huge ticket. In the construction zones they can fry you in most states, even take license for like 15 or 20 over.. he trying to get that drunk to take to the station tonite I’m sure

I wired up two of my Up-fitter switches in preparation for the F150LEDS light bar. Did an extra one for any other MOD I may want to do in the future.

Now my arms and hands are all cut up- should have put band-aides on the back of my fingers before I started. Didn't pay attention to past posts.

Replaced the wheels. $1300 local, super excited about the look. Needed tires, already sold my Maxxis Big Horns for $400 and entertaining selling my OEM SVT wheels. Can't believe the ride quality and noise improvement.
