Mainly he kept me up to speed on the FB page postings and forum news! lol. He did turn a wrench a couple of times and pointed out a few things that definitely helped. I kept the kids away from him, so no opportunity for arguments!

After i saw all the dents on panels where rocks tried to come thru it was no brainer to buy these. I will however mount these way that i can take these off for daily driving. Was thinking nutsert or jack nut for liner and fender to bolt flaps.

I just deal, although I hate it.
I don't even really have chips. I just straight up have 2-3" long, DEEP scratches on the bottom of the doors.

....and here I am wanting Methods for even MORE offset lol.

We have a lot of deer in our area, practically a herd wandering through our subdivision. On a walk with the dogs two days ago a buck bounded across the road just 10 yards from us, and a passing SUV missed him by just a couple feet. That was during daylight hours. It's a real caution at night.

I have fog lights, driving lights, and PIAA off-road lights on my Raptor, but the PIAAs are covered to protect the lenses from rock strikes. (I'm on my 3rd windshield.) It sure would be nice to be able to flip on the PIAAs briefly to check for deer, but it's been inconvenient to stop and get out of the truck to remove the light covers.

SOLUTION: I had an old piece of polycarbonate sheet laying around from a previous project (can't even remember what decade). So I cut the middle out of the light covers and installed a circle of polycarbonate into the hole. The polycarbonate protects the lights from rock strikes, and now I can use my lights without the previous inconvenience. See photo.
