Results of a super late night. Dovetail done, and rebuilt shocks with home brew flutter stack installed. Looks amazing and rides great. Flutter stack makes top perch really cushy on small chop bumps. Rides just like mid perch now.

I'm loving the stance this thing has now. Nice tucked up bumpers front and rear still to come.

Is that a dent in your rear passenger door?

Good catch! Yes it is! Backed into a tree at Hollister Hills. Adds character.

Also,
Installed some l-track in my bed today as a simple bed rack system. The goal for my truck is to be a capable daily that is upgraded where it makes the most sense and is most effective. This setup gets the job done without adding a ton of weight. I'm using a y-strap from SDHQ. Just need to figure out my jack mount now.

:flipthebird:I actually had a couple ball bearings floating around in the grease/boot that would get caught up in the CV joint that basically sounded like a shotgun going off; and the feed back through the steering column would jerk the wheel out of my hand.

Extremely gnarly stuff going on...and of course the IWE was blown AGAIN. It was only 3 weeks old and had never been engaged.

Ouch!

So far so good on my CV's. (Pause to knock on some wood). The weekend before last when I replaced my ball joints I regreased and checked the IWE's and the drivers side was fine. The passenger side had granite and sand embedded in it and the rubber seal was messed up. Ironically the driver side is the one that broke outright.

Got a new spare with tire and 8 gallon tote for the rack. Also some vinyl to wrap some interior pieces. Can't post pics because of resize issues.
Out of a sudden have the same issue….can not post

Aaron the truck looks great. Cleaner and meaner look. Post when you get the bumpers.

Downloaded a app to resize the photo. That the brushed aluminum in blue. Tried it on a small trim from the dash.
