What are these trucks actually getting for mpg?

I drive 90% non highway driving and have a lifetime average of 14.2 MPG. Granted my lifetime mileage is only 1300 miles, my 1/2 mile commute to and from work everyday isn't average for most people.

We should all post the speeds if highway driving because it makes a huge difference from 65-70-80.

First tank of gas 12.7mpg hand calculated computer said 13.8mpg. 80mph cruise and city driving. 80/20

Second tank 13.8mpg hand calculated, computer 14.7mpg. 77-80mph highway and some city

3rd tank 10.7mpg hand calculated 60 miles towing an inline enclosed trailer at 80mph, 140 miles 80mph highway, and 4 hours straight of duning, and racing in the dunes. I didnt think this was bad considering what I put it through.

Today I did 160 miles on the highway and was playing around with speeds and how it affects fuel mileage. If I set cruise to 70 on flat ground I was around 19mpg. If I went to 80mph on flat ground I was 15-16mpg. City driving this truck does well. I could get 15mpg in the city without much trouble where I live. Overall on the 160 mile drive my computer says 16.1mpg average.

Just rolled past 6,700 miles and the computer is showing 16.4 MPG since purchase.

About 60/40 highway/city driving. Usually speeding a bit over the limit, and in Sport Mode about 40% of the time. Never had anything but Premium gas in it.

600+ miles second tank averaging 15.8

80/20 hwy/city little over speed limits (70-75 is the limit where i live)

Significant improvement over my 2014 6.2 V8.

Did around ~260 mile trip yesterday 90% hwy and avg 17.8 @ 75 mph

Computer, or hand calculated? Did you use the cruise control? Im finding that cruise will not give great results on non flat ground vs holding speed manually.

Computer and cruise control but no real grades where I was driving. Basically stayed in 9-10 gears the entire time. One stop to feed my grill and then back on it. IMO, the computer is every bit as accurate as hand due to you having to believe the computer at the pump to give you an accurate reading...lol. Is is funny that we all love the 'computer' in the truck to do 1M things that make it better......except the gas mileage.

Cruise control is horrible if you want the best MPG. I can best every cruise control system I've even driven in for the last 30 years by a good margin. I did a 60 mile trip and got 18.4 according to the truck and that was with 300 miles on the clock.
