What are these trucks actually getting for mpg?

I have to respectfully disagree with you about your last statement; I highly doubt you will be seeing 20mpg average for more than a few miles regardless of what type of driving you are doing. I have done about 1500mi in my SCAB at 75-80mph on cruise, and mpg was right around 14-16. The faster you go in these things, the faster the mpg drops off. If you keep it around 65-70mph, you can probably average 17-18mpg for some time though.

Just my experience with the truck, although you might be much easier on the pedal than I am.

I've not done a lot of that driving, so you may indeed be correct. I'll see and report back when I make a decently long trip on the highway.

i did some testing yesterday on a quick road trip....with levelling collar and 37s I still got 18 mpg hwy, 14, city...im ok with that.

As awesome as that kind of MPG would be stock I very highly doubt you're getting that pushing 37's. There are a few guys on here claiming to get 18+ stock but the vast majority of stock trucks aren't getting 18mpg.

Im just going off what the dash said when i reset it for the trip. This was a primarily a highway trip from Tulsa to Okmulgee Oklahoma and back...40 miles each way at a little less than 70 mph...next road trip I'll reset again and see what I get.

No idea since its balls cold out I usually start it for a couple minutes before I take off so I get lots of 0mpg time idling.

I'd be curious of peoples actual lifetime or longer term average (no cherry picking)...

Granted I have no highway in my daily 10min commute and usually a few spirited wot blasts... but 12.5 for me in my scab, which is quite the swing from some of these #'s

I believe my Gen1 long average was usually in low 10s

I just did a 1000 mile trip to FL with the cruise locked in at 83 MPH most of the time and then 300 miles of city driving there and 1000 miles bat locked in at 83 MPH and averaged 15.6 mpg for the entire trip. I suspect the 83MPH hurt the overall economy.
