In 2015 I bought a Porsche Macan S. It was a great vehicle. However, I immediately had buyer's remorse for not getting the Macan Turbo. I traded it in within 2 weeks. I lost 5K. Do you call that an ass ****? I don't. Know why? Cause I get what I want when I want it. Life's short.

Oh, and I then traded that for another Macan Turbo with a few more doodads. Yes, that was after 8 months. Lost a few more thousand.

Tired of me yet?

Traded that in 10 months for my first Gen2 Raptor. Yep, down a few more grand.

Traded that in 10 months for a 2018 Porsche Panamera.

Traded that in 2 weeks for my first 911, a black 2018 C4. Yep, kaching.

That was missing Sport Chrono, an important option.

Traded it in a month for my current 2019 911T.

Oh, in the meantime, I bought and traded a 2018 Platinum for my current 2019 Raptor.

Has anyone ever talked to you about ADHD? Heck, I may open a business just to handle your vehicle purchases.

If you can afford it and you’re happy with the outcome, more power to you.

It doesn’t stop there. We did an addition to our home after the kids were out. Go figure. 5 occupants down to 2 and we double the size. Did a black granite floor, 18x18” tiles. looks great after it’s washed. Otherwise sucks. Slippery when the least bit wet, grout not black enough, may rip up entire thing.
As for vehicles, am finally content however eying the new Vette as a swap for the 911T.

The amount of time alone that you spend at dealerships signing paper work for cars is more time then I’d be willing to waste on shopping for anything... ever.

I spend zero time signing papers. My attorney takes care of that for me.

Im not going to lie, I agree with txgunsntrucks on this one....While Im not going to go as far as to say "you're gaping", because obviously you have the money to continue the constant switches and changes. That being said, at the end of the day, it just sounds like you have no ability to do research to figure out what you want and instead spend inordinate sums of money for no reason vs. just doing research like a normal human..

That being said, hey to each his own and if you got it, burn it!

Appreciate the thoughts. Truly.

First, if you gentlemen haven't figured it out by now, I'm basically an open book. I lay it out there, like that Clint movie The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.

As for research, you are partially right. Sometimes I want something and just buy it and research later. Bad move usually.

At other times, I research things to death.

My middle name is "Overkill." Unfortunately, it's also impetuous. I don't want to exaggerate so I'll be very conservative by saying in my 45+ years driving I've owned perhaps 35 vehicles. I've never ordered and waited for one. Why? I gotta have it now. Like yesterday. I readily admit it's not smart, it's costly, but I is who I is. Had I ordered the Porsche, I would have more than likely kept it. My third Macan I drove from NY to Jackson, Mississippi to trade numero dos for. I found it on their lot super close to what I wanted. And I really liked it. But that new Gen 2 in 2017 was calling my name, real loud and so it goes.

As my dear wife always says, "It's only money, honey. Buy whatever you want whenever you want it. I'm behind you 1000 percent."

Hard to top that, really.
