I have over 8000 miles driving in hot humid weather all the time. It doesn't misfire. I don't have any perceived condensate problems.

You guys can weep hole it.... but I would be pretty suspicious to drill a hole in the intercooler of my truck. This sounds more like a life hack than a real fix.

This is an ecoboost hack..... it has been the only solution for evacuating the condensate buildup.

there is a decent amount of info on the f150 forums. he isnt over there that i saw. go take a look, its a pretty strong case.

The You tube clips from back in 2011 show a lot more oil than water coming out when the holes where drilled, and the clips I saw all of the motors had 180000 plus miles on them before they did it. Now the newer clip that Sasquatach77 posted on here shows a lot of very "Clean/Clear" water, from I think 2015. From the clips I saw these truck all had a lot of miles on them, and the clear water one was great. That one guy had a half gallon plus of water run out, might have more than a condensate issue on that one. On here there is one guy who only has like 7 post show up and says that in normal mode Truck misses but is fine in sport and the rest of the modes, drills a hole and truck is perfect! Would be nice if he had videoed how truck was running and then what he did to drill the hole and a clip of the after , on how much better it was. Looks like he would show us the mileage when he idi it and then a follow up shot say 500 miles later, with a shot of what kind of mess the weep hole makes with all that oil and water being pushed out under his brand new Raptor. Hell from some of the clips if you had a oil pan leak or a transmission pan leak you would never know, all of that coming out of a brand new inter cooler with the hole drilled in it. I might be wrong on the mileage, but I beleave he said less than 2000 miles. Had mine in for service and asked about the weep hole thing and dealer stated that if it was done it would void the engine, inter cooler, trobos from being covered by Ford or them. That may be why all of the clips are in high mileage motors. As far as the aftermarket having a drain you can open and close, why not. But, I thought the resin you went aftermarket was to relocate cooler , get more flow and this also did away with any condensate issues? Answers please? If and when I have done a mod on my truck I have posted photos of them, all small stuff, but I am proud to help any way I can, and more proud when I post a new photo!

What other proof do you need? Did you research the ecoboost before you bought? The weep hole is proven. It is crazy that people would disregard this after all of the problems, TSBs, and government investigations.

Yes I looked at what I could find on the 3.5 ecoboost that is in my Raptor. There was very little out on it because it is a new motor, like the truck. It shares the same name as the regular 3.5 but that is it. I think you have way more info on it than the rest of the world and Ford who built the damn thing. The newest you tube clip on your weep hole was from 2015, and the truck had 182000 miles. That's when the guy started having trouble, looks like if they had taken the inter cooler off and cleaned it out he might could get another 180000 plus out of it. Got to give you credit, you may have gotten some one to drill a hole in there new truck. Good for you! Your work here is done! Fill bad for the poor guy if he has any other issues come up because he can not take it in and have Ford fix it for him now. Guess you have all the answers, you the man! Hate to see you go but with your work being done here you now can move on to the new Diesel motor. Man them guys will be real impressed with all of your great knowledge! Good luck!

You are not understanding the problem or its severity. This happens because the intercooler is poorly designed... and why aftermarket intercoolers have the weep hole. You will discover this after you develop problems.

I hate water in my intercooler so I stepped it up and drilled a 1" hole. That should keep it dry.

He has been banned on F150forum as: Sasquatch77, FRFJimbo, darrylgibbs, 93CobraOH, 02_Lightning and probably a few more usernames I can't think of at the moment. He currently goes by Bravo3eco over there.
