This is a great write up and helpful as I am in the process of figuring out what I want to do with my fogs. The "Rigids" suck. Do I go 3 pods or 2 half pods to retain the somewhat OEM look. Ran 2 Diode Dynamics SSC2 pods on my Ram with amber backlighting and really liked the output.

Thanks!
I DM'd you on IG. Last I checked, it looked like your followers were leaning toward the triple fog setup in your poll, but I completely understand wanting to maintain that OEM look.
Please let me know if you have any other questions I can answer for you. You can call or text me at the number below.

Thanks!

Thanks so much for reaching out Sidney, the dual SSC2 edged out the triple pods by a very slim margin so that'll most likley be the route I go at some point here.

Thanks again for all the info you shared!

I have 2 pairs of BD Squadron Pros from my old truck that I plan on installing on my new Gen 3. I ordered 2 pairs of OEM to 2 pole WP that you sell. That should work with the OEM fog light switch and AUX 1 without having to run anything else or am I missing something?

Wiring-wise, yes, those will work. However, did you get a new set of brackets to install them in the fog pocket? Because the Squadrons won't fit within the OEM housings.

Feel free to call or text me directly at the number below if you'd like, as well.

Thanks!

Is there a direct comparison available of the oem rigids as delivered vs the Baja designs dual s2 pro with one set driving one set spots? Lots of great information here but not a single comparison of the OEM lights on a dark road or even against a wall vs a replacement kit in the same oem housing/plastic trim. If somebody knows of links please post them here since this thread is pretty good on light and harness info as well as output info but no actual side by side in vehicle comparisons.

Also some good information to add would be the down side of “oem like” adjustability also not touched in here or I missed it. The oem are very easy to adjust.

Aftermarket companies miss important features like that often so it would be great to have this info posted with user experiences. “Requires removing bracket from vehicle to adjust” for example.
