So.....who's going to be the next guinea pig to drill the hole? Someone with the issue want to buck up?

I had thought the Premium fuel had resolved mine, but it still is just not right. Admittedly, I have not taken it to the dealer yet. I am in a humid area (Dallas)

Sounds like you need to get the drill out..*♂️

Why not? We have people here that drilled the weep hole and it solved the problem.

I've seen one who claimed it worked. And there was speculation it was you under a different name. I don't feed in 100% to the shit flying around here about you, but I am cautious because of it. Do you know of others who have done it and it made a difference?

By the way, why would you continue to take the shit you get here, and come back for more? In your mind you are trying to help, but you get shit on every time you type. Guess what I'm asking is, WHY?

I am here to help. You need to know that this weep hole is a must-do for a safe ownership experience.
You don't want to fight and struggle through this when there is a tried and true fix.

The shit that comes out of the IC in those youtube videos is pretty amazing. And then the fact that two aftermarket IC manufacturers are including vents is telling. If my truck was hesitating or misfiring, I'd probably try it. I wouldn't want to be in the middle of a pass and have my engine cut out on me.

This reminds me of the old opti spark debacle and my dad's '94 Formula, by the way.

Search on YouTube as @Truckzor said. I have a V8 so I really could give a shit. But out of curiosity I searched and I found a bunch. Enough to convince me.

A catch can does *help* to keep oil from getting to the intercooler. BUT, the intercooler still builds condensate while driving and it pools in the intercooler. The only safe way to fix all of this is the 1/16" intercooler weep hole.

I have over 8000 miles driving in hot humid weather all the time. It doesn't misfire. I don't have any perceived condensate problems.

You guys can weep hole it.... but I would be pretty suspicious to drill a hole in the intercooler of my truck. This sounds more like a life hack than a real fix.
