Who was the guy that was spamming the board about trading his GEN 2 in on a Ram rebel with the 12" screen and 12k off sticker? lol. I called him Warren Buffet at some point when he came back and raptor prices were going back through the roof. Between the Summer of 2019 and 2020, my truck had not lost a penny of value, according to KBB, even though I had put another 25k miles on it. I check it every now and again for fun.

My initial plan was to drive my '18 until around 80-90k and trade on a new one. I just ticked over 64k miles, and I gotta say, this is the first vehicle I've owned that I haven't had an itch to trade after a couple years. I may just keep it until my extended warranty runs out at 125k.

All that is to say, tell your buddy to find one he likes and jump on it. Low mileage trucks are not going to get any cheaper, for a long time, probably not until after the 2024 election. :D

Times have clearly changed. I bought my 2018 802A (all options minus carbon package, Raptor stickers, Recaro seats) w/8500 miles...for $61,500 in early 2019. Something doesn’t sound quite right.

Tell him to call McLarty Daniel Ford in Arkansas. He could get a brand new one for that. A little more and it’ll be fully loaded.
