I also posted this under the 0-60 thread, but thought I would add it here too:

A quick update providing some performance details. I have been using an app for years called Pocket Dyno on my iPhone. While it is no Dragy, it's been consistent enough for me and it's $free.99.
I did 3 back to back runs, and these are the highest 0-60 acceleration numbers from each. I used Sport mode, 4A, and launched from about 2k RPMs for each run. My truck is a completely stock SCREW 19 with the exception of the mods listed below and 91 octane.

S&B Intake only: 5.26 seconds
S&B Intake and Wagner IC: 4.99 seconds
S&B Intake, Wagner IC, ORA550 Tune: 4.69 seconds

For informational purposes the times for the latter configuration are as follows: 4.75, 4.78, 4.69. I am really liking the consistency. These runs had about 2 minutes of driving in between, so they were not one right after another, and ambient temps were around 60 degrees.

I was looking at CVF Intercooler but i also noticed it would have gap around shroud area. I wanted something that only sits in stock location and ended up going with Mishimoto. It came with rubber grommets around intercooler which touch and make tight seal around shroud area (actually overlapping the shroud on the outside). I heard different things about Mishimoto quality but looking closely at their product I really dont see nothing wrong with it. Hopefully will last. It has exactly same staggered design as CVF does.

Actually no. Intercooler has aluminum strips that run on each of the sides and on top and they are welded to the ends and the rubber grommets slip onto does strips (rubber grommets also have metal strips inside of them so you can actually clamp them down if they become loose. You can see it in the pic how the grommet goes around the shroud and the weld on the side of the intercooler for this aluminum strip that grommet sits on. Like I said looking at this intercooler I dont see nothing wrong with it or quality of all welds etc. Since its made from same exact 6061 aluminum as all other intercoolers I am beginning to think that people saying that will fall apart among other bad assumptions never seen one in person and compared it to others. I am beginning to think that its based on assumption because friend of the friend who heard from friend of another friend said it.

Sorry I’ve been off the forums for a bit.

Yes it does. Fans work just like stock.

Changed over to the MPT Tune. With the 91 MPX I’ve timed multiple 0-60 runs under 4.6 seconds, to include one at 4.49. We hit 111 this week in AZ and the IC is still doing a good job keeping temps...reasonable. Only so much you can do when the ambient temp is so high, but during WOT you can watch the charge air temp drop pretty rapidly. That’s a good sign in my book.

OP I’m installing the ADD pro bolt on bumper when I get my truck, how long extra do you think this thing takes to install after the bumper removal?
