Yes.

I just found out that I had a problem with my trans. It was a $2600 fix that was covered under warranty. Had I installed a tune that $2600 would have come out of my pocket. This is why i'm not doing a tune or any motor mods till my warranty is up.

Or remove the tune prior to taking the truck in for service

yeah ive always wondered if they would still know if something had been done to the vehicle computer?

Yup thats what I did with my 7.3L PSD. They never said anything.

It depends on how closely they look. The computer will register the change. However, if you have enough time you can switch the tune back, then register a few cycles they may not see it on initial look.

What was the problem with the tranny that required 2600 dollar fix and HOW did it occur?

if you ask your dealership to put it on make them sign a good too go paper for the most part mods don't cause the damage goof up's stupidity drunkenness stuff like that is where the damage comes into play if you are driving the truck within specks of the owners manual you will be fine that means keep it under 100mpg thing's like that
