Voided warranty

What was the problem with the tranny that required 2600 dollar fix and HOW did it occur?

Just a simple part failure. Could happen to anyone.

I'll know more tomorrow. However, this is the kind of failure that makes Ford look for tunes. Not worth the gamble to me as this truck is my daily driver.

Yeah...and I dont want to give them an easy out by saying the tune did it. The tune changes parameters that then gives Ford the leverage to deny waranty. If there is any history of a tune Ford will use that as an excuse. Sometimes, even if your service adviser approves the work, Ford will order a regional employee go on site to investigate. They dig deep if they sense any mods.

how many miles on your truck was thinking in two oil changes it will be what it will be by than I drive hard so I know what I've got not stupid but hard I changed my engine oil at 1500 miles and will change it at 3000 and at 6000 it should be what it is I'm at 2900 now but definitely will wait until after 6000 miles to put on my mods cant wait for the exhaust mainly

I'm at 29k. All service has been done at the dealer per the manual.

If I remember correctly the trans should be flushed at 60k and the coolant at 105k.

Exhaust is the best sound mod. Which one you thinking of getting?

mannn so it will void the warranty, i was also planning to do the tune. oh well will just have to shed some weight starting from the driver , removing the spare tire replacing a lighter rims, carbon fiber hood letc.. lol
