They're almost all OT1's. Randy was told that only 1/2 of 1 % of orderes pulled are OT2's. FTS (**** this shit)

Nope you have that backwards.

1/2 % O/T 1 "Sold" Raptors

Most that are built have been O/T 2 "for dealer stock"

Hey Raptor gurus, newbie here wondering about a truck I have ordered. I found this forum the other day and have found lots of great information here so far. My dealer has told me that my truck should be here as early as tomorrow, as late as Tuesday. I have my VIN and have looked at my window sticker, which looks like it was scheduled to be built November 17th, but it still has the first 2 meaning pending build if I'm reading this thread correctly. Is the status of shipping coded into the window sticker page or do I need to look elsewhere.

Interestingly, mine also shows to be an O/T2

My Window Sticker

Thanks in advance for the help.

I dont think the first 2 goes away when the truck is built. Hopefully your dealer is correct. Please post pics of your truck when you get it!

I thought I read somewhere (I think posted by our expert Randy) that that first 2 would change to a 1 once the truck was built. Maybe that only changes on the final sticker that goes on the truck.

Here's a separate question for someone. The last 6 digits of my VIN are A45035. That would indicate that its the forty-five thousand thirty-fifth something to be built. Is this an annual tally of all Ford vehicles or just trucks? I can't imagine they've built that many 150s thus far. Something I found online indicated it may be trucks in general. Still, that's a lot of F-series trucks! Anyone?

I spoke to my dealer today, he said that my truck has been built and is scheduled for delivery the weeks of December 5th or 12th.

He was telling me that a company out in California bought out a whole bunch of OT1 allocations from dealers. That is why he moved my order from OT1 to OT2. He wanted me to get my truck as soon as possible.

A45035 is the running total of ONLY 2012 F150's.
But that's how many Ford has pulled and Vin'ed. (not built yet)
Once Ford gets to A99999, the next vin # would be B00001
