vin's pulled

I just called SVT to check on my order, no VIN yet..but the guy there asked for my name, not a big deal but do they usually do that?

I just called and they asked for my name, also told me my truck is on it's way. :waytogo:

Did you already have your vin?


HuH? I called last week, got the royal run-around. No asking for a name, nothing. Just told to "Call my dealer" WTF??? Called the dealer, asked for the regional rep. Wouldn't give her info.

Oh yes had vin for awhile, window sticker all the info, now just another week or so. Have seen many of your posts knine your situation SUX but it can't be too much longer good luck.:peace:

Hey Tautog (or anyone else) how far in advance of your production week/date did your window sticker become available?

Well, here's a fresh one. Just got back from the dealer after pricing new front rotors for the Marauder. They tell me the regional rep "bumped" another order so mine would be built and had a "Janurary build date". Uh-huh. So I asked the date of build:"she didn't give it". Uh-huh. So I asked for a vin: "still shows order processing" Uh-huh. Then the line about a material hold and the options I ordered causing the order to not get pulled. Uh-huh. The salesman didn't believe her either after that one.

I hear all the good experiences everyone else is having with Ford and I have yet to report a single positive experience. Now, reading the above recent events, tell me that I'm not being lied to. It's bad enough to not pull an order placed 14 weeks ago, but to lie to a customer so blatantly? I call ********.
