does the panel just lay in the cubby? how is it fastened? can it be cut to fit different radios?

It fits into the opening, then you release the door...the pressure of the door locks it into place. Very trick, works great.

Ive been working on the motorized and non-motorized antenna mounts, mounted the motorized version on my 2018, and just sent a prototype of the non-motorized mount out to a member on here to test.

Ill get to working on the head plates tomorrow.

In the mean time check out the motorized mounting plates, coming soon! Heres the prototype, its so stealthy you need to zoom in to really see it:

Yes, have had a little time lately and got a easily built mount for the Kenwoods almost done. I’ll keep everyone posted.

Would love this as a removable option that I could throw it in on the weekends. Quick connects for power/ant in the cubby would be awesome, thoughts? Keep us posted.
