More pics of the install ImageUploadedByTapatalk 21379886936.517801.jpg used the mystery box location to bring out the mic plug ,the power switch and the volume control for the external speaker witch is the center speaker on the dashImageUploadedByTapatalk 21379887105.172068.jpgi also put a camera facing the radio so I can see what channel I'm on n can see when I'm changing channels from the micImageUploadedByTapatalk 21379887213.925742.jpg

Nice work. So you used the center speaker of the truck radio as your external speaker for the radio?

Yeah just unplugged it and wired into it
I thought it might need to be amplified but when I tested it wire straight from the radio to the speaker in sounded good and loud

To clarify, your center speaker is now dedicated to the VHF radio?
