Can you use Innercom with the Icom 880-h?

Yes, you should be able to use a cable to adapt either pci or ruggeds intercom to this radio (same cable should work for most ICON radios)

Trey, the icom 880 u have, what all else u advise me purchasing to be able to mount the brains in center console and the detachable face on center dash? Does it come with the correct length cord? This will be In my scab when it's time for purchasing. Thanks...

Vehicle Specific Console

I didn't really want to start a new thread for this, so I'm going to ask this question here instead.

My 2013 SCREW is being tasked as a storm chase vehicle (one of my hobbies) and I am working on installing all the equipment as cleanly as possible.
I would like to permanently install the following items into the center console and still be able to close the top.

• (1) Uniden BCT15X scanner [Link]
• (1) HAM radio transceiver [Make/Model not chosen yet]
• (1) 6 Function Switch Plate [Link]
• (1) Control Module for 8 head traffic directional LED light bar

Does anyone know if there is anything similar to this product Havis C-VS-1100-F150 2004-2008 Ford F150 Vehicle Specific 11" Console for our Raptors?
I e-mailed Havis (the console manufacturer) and they said nothing was available specifically for the F150 Raptor and probably wouldn't be due to lack of demand.

However, I wonder if this will fit...

Thanks for the link. I thought I remembered seeing some sort of console for the Raptor, but couldn't remember where.

I really need something that utilizes the factory lid/armrest (I use it all the time to rest my arm) and the ability have it closed to hide most of the radio equipment.

My other option is have one custom fabricated and I'm sure a few other raptor owners would be interested in something like this to mount additional upfitter switches, VHF radio, etc.

how do you hook the mic? does it stay with just a screw I'm thinking get a pull for runs and a spot for everyday. I hate reading important stuff tried but I'm no good at that.

Correct mine is hanging from the screw. During events Heather ussually handles the comm traffic so it ends up sitting in the cup holder most of the time.

I think I'll get a truckers pull string and hang it. also did you just screw it to the side not bolt? I'm getting ready and think the above is what I'm doing.

I used a heavy duty Velcro for the faceplate and double sided tape for the mic and had no problems on the South Lake run. I didn't have time on my install before the run to do anything more permanent. At some point I may craft a metal bracket that attaches between the trim pieces.
