Made the date by only a couple days. Talked to my dealer and they called ford and were able to get it added to the campaign. Wasn't really a big deal but if they'll put it in for free then why not!

So I tried my local dealer and the dealer an hr and a half I ordered my truck through and both told me to kick rocks as it's not in my oasis. The dealer I bought my truck through informed me that they revised the build dated and shortened it by a month. Originally, the campaign covered build dates out to March 29th 2023. Well they revised it and cut it back to Feb 28th 2023. My build date is March 13th. So I did fall in the build dates, and now I dont. Does anyone have a contact number/email for someone at corporate? This is a shit show. Some people getting it taken care of no problem, and others being told to **** off on a basic option on a $90K truck...

just got word today that my heated wheel was approved and the dealer ordered the parts. it's a shame some dealers aren't interested in helping. I've had great service from Garnet Ford in Chadds Ford, PA. they have gone to bat for me multiple times and always seem willing to listen and help. if you're in the area you should give them a chance.

Had this done to my '23 R yesterday. I was told by the SM that she learned something new. She said she didn't think Ford would even consider what I was asking them to do even though my truck met all of the requirements. Was very surprised when they authorized the work. Took about 2 hrs to complete. Works as intended.

I had this done. My truck met the qualifications but wasn’t on the list. My dealer basically told me to kick rocks at first but I kept making phone calls and asking questions. My main question was why are certain ones on the list but others not? Nobody had a solid answer.

Most just said “well you were credited for it”. I replied with ALL 2023’s that stated the heated wheel were credited. Every single one. Nobody Wes skipped for the heated steering wheel and not credited.

Eventually I was told it’s up to the individual dealership. Their service person has to get it to happen. Took me all kinds of back and forth. But now I have a heated wheel s d I haven’t turned it off since I got it installed.

I wonder if my September 2023 build would qualify….I don’t really care, but it would be nice 3-4 days a year.

My service guy doesn't want to do the legwork. He gave me Ford's number and both the customer support and recall people can't seem to help me and referred me back to dealership. I may try another dealership or lay a $100 bill on the counter with the request.

Guess I am one of the fortunate ones that got it approved, and is scheduled to be installed this coming Thursday (mine did meet all of the CSP requirements.) My local dealer a few miles from my house wasn’t interested in helping either and gave me the same run around as you. Ford CS was useless as well. I contacted another dealer about 50 minutes away that @squeak recommended in an earlier post above and they were great…was approved and showed up in my FordPass within a few days. It doesn’t seem like much work on the dealers part.

Yep, all predicated on the dealer's interaction/reputation with FORD it seems.

Those of you that got your dealership to get your VIN added so this could be done, can you tell me what they did exactly? My dealership is trying to help (I think), but they want me to get more information for them.
