If a full time hub was available for the Raptor would you upgrade?

No it doesn't. The diaphram is crap on oem actuators. I had some one off made by a cnc mill that uses silicone diaphragms and quality locking collars. I also use a external vacuum pump to engage and disengage . It works like a dream.

Can you elaborate the external vacuum pump. I would like to figure out a way to have the actuators disengage for flat towing. I figured I could hook into the tow vehicles vacuum somehow to do the disengage but the ultimate would be to have a vacuum pump in the truck I could turn on to disengage. Could this external pump your talking about work this way?

Yes. I use a vacuum pump from my case tractor. It uses vacuum pumps for a few different actuators. The damn thing has been submerged in icy mud and it was great.

No there will not be an upgrade. The part Apperantly has a small failure rate and not worth for companies to make an aftermarket.

I fixed mine using a DIY mod, but I'm not sharing any info. Lots of money and lots of headaches during a one year time to rebuild my front end. You"ll just have to go to the drawing boards and start from scratch

Hey f*******. Instead on bashing others why don't your Smart ass come up with a idea yourself. Instead of asking for handouts

In case your dumb enough to figure it out yourself I provided all the needed info and tips for you to come up with your own solution.
Reason I'm not sharing any info is because the companies I have worked with to come up with this solution wouldn't want this information getting out incase they decide to make an aftermarket solution.

Whooaoaaaa cowboy!!! ive got your button!!! that response tells a lot about your character dude. cant wait to do business with you and the companies you represent lol.. Oh wait... lets get that straight first...you originally said there will not be an upgrade because of the small failure rate but now your doing R&D for an upgrade? so which is it? im here to learn and make our trucks better and more fun. if you get off by holding secret info over peoples head then rock on.. just do it with your facebook friends and not here. and im pretty sure those "companies" you work with would appreciate that as well.

You're the exact reason why this forum is faked. Well can't wait till I get the ban hammer again. After 6k posts and being a member since 2011 lol.

Good luck with your 4x4 fix. You're the one that initiated this even after I basically told you what the problems are and what it takes to fix. I'm sorry you can't comprehend simple tasks.

The fixes are different from raptor to raptor. I explained how I fixed mine but I refused to give out exact part details due to them being one off custom made parts I have all the rights to refrain from giving any more information.

I run 40 inch tires no lift. Aftermarket axles/hubs. The only way to fix what you describe is come up with your own solution or wait until a company takes initiative to make a fix. The "no" named companies do not wish to produce these parts in huge amounts. Do not ask me why. I've been having 4x4 issues since 2011. No one could ever fix em until about 6 months ago when I had to start from scratch again. If you spent over 10k rebuilding your front drivetrain would you give your secrets away? I don't think so.

Sorry I came off as aggressive but asking for help and then telling me to **** isn't gonna get you help anyway shape or form. If you want some help feel free to send me a pm and I can further help you. The companies asked me not to give out contact due to they don't want to be annoyed by people always asking to test. I showed them my issues, I showed them my truck rock crawling on trails NOT made for raptors. I live 6 hr from nearest town and 4x4 is needed for my safety and just getting home. In northern canada we get so much snow lower 48 can't compare. I earned the right to test a few parts and with my off road knowledge and friends connections in the off road Industry I begged for some of them to make one off parts or else the raptor would be useless for me In 2 wheel drive. The stages are still young and lots more work to do before a finished product arrives. When we get everything stable and working 100 % then the manufactures will know the parts will be ready for distribution!

To goofball apologies to coming off like that but do not tell me to **** off when I'm trying to help you In a way where you can benefit for knowledge and at the same time keeping my promise to the folks that run there companies.
