If a full time hub was available for the Raptor would you upgrade?

Sorry I came off as aggressive but asking for help and then telling me to **** isn't gonna get you help anyway shape or form. If you want some help feel free to send me a pm and I can further help you. The companies asked me not to give out contact due to they don't want to be annoyed by people always asking to test. I showed them my issues, I showed them my truck rock crawling on trails NOT made for raptors. I live 6 hr from nearest town and 4x4 is needed for my safety and just getting home. In northern canada we get so much snow lower 48 can't compare. I earned the right to test a few parts and with my off road knowledge and friends connections in the off road Industry I begged for some of them to make one off parts or else the raptor would be useless for me In 2 wheel drive. The stages are still young and lots more work to do before a finished product arrives. When we get everything stable and working 100 % then the manufactures will know the parts will be ready for distribution!

To goofball apologies to coming off like that but do not tell me to **** off when I'm trying to help you In a way where you can benefit for knowledge and at the same time keeping my promise to the folks that run there companies.

Totally understanding that safety pushes you to go that extra mile
If its just a funf factor..you can handle a lil reliability

No use you weight and get them in production ;)

I have no interest in making money off this. All I want is a bulletproof 4x4 capable to make a IFS handle same abuse as a straight axle.

I'm merely a gineu pig for these folks. My truck has been rebuilt 4 times In 80000 miles

Apology accepted and reciprocated... Im over it... So how the heck do I get bullet proof 4x4? Im getting grinding and popping until it finally grabs in good. So Im with you rptr... If my 4x4 becomes unreliable I will find myself in trouble. Im not out in the wilderness like you but it still poses a major disruption to my work duties if I eventually start getting failures. Im from the superduty world previously in which I could manually lock the front in if there were to be a vacuum problem. unfortunately we don't have that luxury with the raptor.

Yeah it's a lack in vacuum. Have you done any diagnostics?
This is my findings from oem actuators. Even if u plug the vent and vacuum port with your finger the diaphram itself still lets air In and out. The material they use for a diaphram is crap. It let's moisture inside and there's a collar spring inside which with any corrosion or grime will lock up causing troubles in engaging and disengaging. What you are describing is either loss of vacuum or not enough. Check your solenoids. Get a vacuum test gun and check if any vacuum gets released. The hoses are brittle rubber. One time it was -50c and as soon as I touched the rubber hose it snapped like plastic....
Something is causing your iwe solenoid to not engage/disengage or it's just stuck in the middle. Check your cv splines and hub splines for any wear and tear. I also like to grease the hell out of those parts with extra wheel bearing grease to keep gunk out and have everything going smoothly. It's a very common issue with this vacuum actuated design.
Here's a video of what I am trying to achieve. Dunno if you have seen it. They show some parts used.

I run rcv axles for half shafts and spidertrax hub unit bearings.
If you have any more questions shoot or send me a pm with your issue I'll try to help you

Never seen it asked

But ain't there like aftermarket front diffs that would be better?

Yes you can run a dynatrac pro 60 IFS. That's just a housing.
You have pop In a different differential altogether in a ford 8.8 reverse. Like a Detroit 2trac . Just watch out. I stuck a front Locker in mine but it spools 10 times more causing troubles on cv shafts /hub assemblies.

Srry for late response

I can imagine you want a manual locker instead of an automated on to protect the driveline on the front

No aftermarket membrame to replace to crappy stock one ??

My iwe fix is to gut the iwe system and only keep the inner seal. Then take a splined gear extension and that geared collar locks the hub to cv shaft. So with no iwe or anymore hoses, the cvs are locked full time. When I need 4x4 I shift thru the transfer. This eliminated any grinding, popping, ect caused by the iwe
