I had been looking at these UnderCover Swing Case in-bed storage boxes but had been undecided. The cheapest I had seen them was $162.75 each on Amazon. AutoAnything is running a Memorial Day sale with $100 off each case using coupon SWING100. I had to place two orders, one for each box, to get the coupon to work on each one. Total shipped is $99.99 each.

Model numbers are SC201D for driver's side and SC201P for passenger side.

Once I get them installed I will post a review.

I've got a set in mine and they work great! Only complaint I have is the plastic trays. They're too small and about three bounces with any kind of weight in them will break the metal clips that they rest on. About a week after I got them I threw out the plastic trays and welded up some custom metal trays. Bigger and much more durable! ;-)

I have them and what Harbler said is the truth. I'd spray a little silicone lube on the locks underneath occasionally too. They get hard to swing out when dirty. I also have some foam padding I stuff in there when offroading and it helps keep my tools somewhat organized.

One more thing to consider is to bolt them and not use self tapping screws or lags for the brace. It takes two people but well worth it. The tail light comes out to reach the back side.

Yes, I bolted them all. Had to drill the holes out a bit for the bolts. You can reach behind the wheel wells and that is where the second set of hands comes into play. One of my brackets got bent at TRR and some of the self taps were working loose so that's why I went with the bolts.

I installed the Swing Cases last weekend. As Radrap suggested, I used bolts instead of the self-tapping screws. After drilling out the holes using the bracket as a template, I used some touch-up paint to seal off the metal. There were a few scratches on the brackets, so I touched them up and then decided to paint the release handles black. I used 1/4"x1" SS bolts, washers and nylock nuts. I think 3/4" long bolts would also work. You have to take the tie-down off and flip it over so the arm of the case bracket does not hit it. To get the four nuts on near the tailgate, take off the taillight. The other two nuts near the wheel well can be reached from under the truck. As mentioned above, a helper will be needed.

Wolf, nice install. I've been considering these too. Quick question, I saw you turned the tie down over. In that position is it still possible to use the tie down in some way? Would the cases have to be flipped out to use it?
