Not a tie down but a strap. They will get loose after hard off-roading. Did you use bolts or lags to mount?

1/4" x 1" SS bolts, washer, and nylocks. What kind of strap did you use? Adding a lock to it should prevent that right?

What did you end up using?? The self tapping screws that came with it?

I had the self tappers installed but they pulled out and then I went with the bolts. No problems now.
