Got my 19 about a month ago. Did a full body inspection but didnt look underneath too much as it was a brand new truck. Since I got it home I've noticed a lot of surface rust on the rear of the truck. Is this something common, should I be worried and take it in??
Thanks

Yeah I guess the rain and humidity will do that ! Por15 will fix that easily just hit it with a brush and spray with the por15 you'll be amazed how well it works I use it on my camper and truck chassis it's great stuff.

I'm fairly certain it'll be more of a headache for you to take it into the dealership than simply to address it yourself. Clean and prep the areas and give it a nice coat of Satin black paint. Ford's qulaity control and finishing standards suck, especaially on a $70k truck.

When mine was about a week old I touched up several areas underneath with matching black paint that has been holding up nicely.

This is definitely disappointing. However, I'm not surprised... yes, its a $70k truck, but its based on a $30k truck. This is my first American made vehicle in a long time, and I was hoping this type of headache was resolved long ago, but apparently Ford is still trying to upsell "undercoating" at checkout.
