Yeah I guess the rain and humidity will do that ! Por15 will fix that easily just hit it with a brush and spray with the por15 you'll be amazed how well it works I use it on my camper and truck chassis it's great stuff.

Undercarriage surface rust is pretty common and unavoidable without sealing treatment. It won't affect the truck's performance or (unless you plan on driving it for 20 years) its longevity.

Your truck wasn't parked in a clean room before you took delivery. It was parked, test driven, and likely transported in the elements. Steel rusts.

You'll drive that truck 200,000 miles and undercarriage rust won't even be in your top 100 issues by then.

Tl;dr: I wouldn't worry about it, but I don't fault you. I'm slightly obsessive about these sorts of things too.

Undercarages rust on all trucks. These trucks are no worse or better then any other brand.

Yep. My 2019 the day I took delivery with 6 miles on the truck. Are your skid plates oxidized? My "other" brand was 3 years old with 40,000 miles, I live in and travel the midwest and it wasn't even close to this bad yet.

Mine was the same, lots of surface rust as well. Haven't peeked lately, but doing an oil change in the next few days so I'll be able to eyeball it then. Unfortunately, my garage is pretty cramped, and a vertical support right in the middle so not too much room to pull wheels and give 'er the treatment she needs. But I def want to address it, so need to figure something out for the spring. No oxidation on the skid plates yet, but if I see any, or have comparable rust I'll put some pics up as well. I'm disappointed too.
