No vehicle is “forever”, so what’s the difference between a truck or car? It’s your vehicle either way. If anything, trucks cost more then most (ordinary) cars and take longer to wash.
Mine is garaged, as is my wife’s X5. I like getting in/out of a dry garage and going into my house. Makes no difference if it’s a truck, or a Rolls Royce.
