I could not be in a more opposite camp - truck has ceramic coating, I spray fluid film underneath and I park it in a nice, well insulated garage. Whether it's my forever truck or not, I treat it as if it were. I'm not a damn savage. :)
Same here. I had mine ceramic coated, WoolWaxed, and PPF'ed, I plan on keeping it for quite a while. It's always garaged. I have to say I don't get the whole, "I'm a real man and don't care, it's a truck" thing. I don't care if it's a truck or not, I like my stuff to be nice. I always wonder where that ends, do you take a dump in your seat (it's a truck!) so you don't have to bother stopping, because that shows how manly you are? :dancingpoop:

Mine barely fits in the garage, my wife has to get out of the truck before I drive in or otherwise she is not getting out of her door… I have about inch or two of rear bumper clearance from the garage door. The front has enough clearance for my small bench and roll away toolbox.

It sits out on many weekend camping trips while hauling firewood and pulling an ATV trailer.

It will have no problem fitting in my garage. The width of my 2007 tundra with no-power-retracting towing mirrors is wider then my in-production white 37 (103" vs 96"). I have a 3" lift on my 2007 so the roof height is almost identical. Never had a truck with heated seats or remote start before so an insulated & heated garage has always been nice during the MT winter especially when I head to the gym early am wearing shorts and sneakers

I don’t think it is anything about being “a real man”. I just have different priorities. Not knocking the others who spend hours detailing and keeping it neat. I don’t have that time. And, it ends a little before taking a dump in my truck. Lol.

I don’t think it is anything about being “a real man”. I just have different priorities. Not knocking the others who spend hours detailing and keeping it neat. I don’t have that time. And, it ends a little before taking a dump in my truck. Lol.
Not saying about you specifically, but it sure seems like some of the guys think that way. Even when I was running dump trucks when I first got out of school, I still liked to keep them clean.

LOL Apparently I'm a savage. I'm OK with that. I park in an unheated garage and hose the salt off a couple of times per year. Oh, and I pinstriped it. :p

Both of our trucks stay outside. Biggest reason is salted roads in the winter. Parking a salty vehicle in a warm garage, even moderately warm, accelerates the rust. I do what I can to protect them from the elements by washing them often and keeping them waxed,so sitting outside doesn't really hurt the trucks for the most part. And, the garage i have isn't big enough for both trucks, lol. From my experience if you want a rust free vehicle in my environment, you never drive it in the winter. Ever.
