Good. 2 votes for mbrp. Any way either of you could post a start up, idle, and throttle vid? Preferably not in a closed garage, or when it's raining, or with the recording device directly under the pipe like every other video I can find. Thanks for the input fellas!

Hmm, 2 votes against turndown. Yeah the cabin shake would be bad. My 2yo daughter rides in the back. But then again, she'd probably giggle her ass off. She already wants me to "go fast, Daddy" the second she gets in the car. She may be a car nut like her old man :rocking:

Anyone heard the SW lightning in person with stock headers?

I installed the MBRP turndown two weekends ago. I was only able to fire it up long enough to move the truck outside the garage and I thought maybe it would be too loud.

Spent some time in the truck last weekend and have reconsidered. It's a little boomy around 2k rpm and it is definitely louder than stock, but if you go easy on the throttle its not too bad. Sounds sweet when you stomp on it too :love62:

x2. I have heard that when you get on it, the entire cabin shakes.

I would have to disagree with that. I do not notice the "entire cabin shaking" whatsoever. May be cause I am too distracted by the awesome sound when you get on it. To be honest, I was a little concerned at first getting the turndown due to hearing turndowns on other vehicles, but I really don't think its over the top. Again, to each their own, but best $328 mod I have ever purchased for any vehicle.

BTW, completely forgot about the video I said I would take. Too late tonight, ill get one tomorrow.

Yeah I will second that Banman. I wasn't voting against the mbrp, I love the sound and it doesn't make the cab shake. I was just stating that the op didn't want cabin noise and you are definately going to hear the exhaust. Txfight your daughter may love the sound and will make it appear you are cooperating with her plee to "go fast daddy", both of my boys like it.
