I ordered mine today.....kept it simple. Silver Supercrew, 801A, and Front Torsion Diff......and thats it. Dealer had 3 allocations and I got his last one, paying MSRP. How are you guys able to check on build dates and status?

On facebook, look up "ford service" and send them a message with your order number, dealer code/address and they should be able to give you a status--but if you just placed an order today, wait six weeks.

Huh. I've probably read "avalanche grey" over a thousand times both on this forum and throughout the internet.

I order mine on July 26th from one of the top 10 dealers. Priority 10. They didn't know they could place orders till I had them look. I talked to them last week they were going to call ford rep and see when mine would get picked. Order 1 Blue 1 Black 802A Super Crew withe everything except bead lock wheels.

Paint code for Avalanche is DR, same as for the Mustang.

Avalanche Grey (DR) is definitely Grey!! Look at the link below with a direct caparison to white. Probably why all Ford references to the color has the word GREY in it!?!?

I went through this already, there is no telling these guys that it is not off white. I am sure they saw the promo picture with it in the sand that has a bad exposure and makes it look off white. It is NOT off white in any sense of the word, it's grey.

You don't have to wait six weeks, took about 1-2 weeks for me to get a status change to unscheduled clean, another 2 weeks and i got my Vin and build week..

I'm looking for a hard and secure tonneau cover for my 17. I don't want a 1 piece, I want something that folds/retracts/rolls, either or. Anyone have any suggestions?

I will jump in here...I have a diamondback hd on my current rig (tundra). Best mod ever. I will be getting one for the raptor. Easy to take off if needed. Very secure. Turns the whole bed into a secure (semi water resistant) trunk. I have bike racks and yeti cooler mounts on top. I don't care for the factory black (too shiny) I will have mine line x'd
