Got this today concerning my order. Not sure how to interpret it.

Hello Dwight,

Thank you for reaching out to me. I checked on your Raptor order and it shows the truck status as “In order processing”. This means that your order has been received, successfully edited, and is awaiting scheduling action. Once your truck receives a schedule to build day, it should then get a VIN and ETA. Everything looks in order and it should schedule within a few weeks or months depending on your dealer’s allocation.

Remember, this is a specialty vehicle and will not schedule like the regular F-150s. You can ask your dealer which quarter this Raptor is for. This may help you get an idea of when it’ll schedule. You’re welcome to keep checking with me weekly. Have a good one!

Deysha

Exact same quote and person I was contacted back with. Thanked her last night, responded back today saying no problem. Stated to feel free to check in weekly...

My dealer let me know he just placed his first orders for 2017 F-150s yesterday. So we may be getting closer than we think.

Of course no Raptors were in that order. He also got 6 17 Superdutys last week. Going to go check those out tomorrow maybe.

Cool, good to know the ball is rolling. Just waiting to see when myself and others can track.

That last part is interesting. I am going to wait until at least Friday to check on mine because that is the first day of order scheduling. Might actually wait until middle of next week.

Yes, a few weeks or months is very interesting!

My thought exactly. True to form, there's so much ambiguity there that the sentence would've been better left off. Lol. My translation of that is, "We have no freakin clue what's going on or when it'll happen".

True to form.

I believe this is lack of information is driving some dealers in pricing MSRP plus values. I have an e mail to the GM hoping to get more information on the allocation they are receiving. I am 4th on the list and did not a get a clear picture of what that means. I am paying MSRP because I want a Raptor this year. I hate to wait especially when I have no idea when I will receive it. My last Raptor was the same way. Transmission adjustments, etc. cause a delay with the first out 6.2 engines. I had to wait 12 weeks.

Only thing I know for sure is that I'm first on the list with my dealer for the order I placed on 7/25. According to the GM there (friend of mine), I'll "definitely" be in a Raptor this year and "most likely it'll be November".

And out of every bit of that, all I really know for sure is that I'm first on their list. Lol!

There is a difference between orders that are allocated to the system and floating in never land.
I have 2 GT350R's on order since april. Deysha said the same thing, a few weeks or months and its been 5 months and still not scheduled. One just got allocated to the system 2 weeks ago and should schedule within a couple weeks. So, basically its when your dealers allocation time frame is.
My local dealer i ordered the raptor from only has 2 allocations. His rep sent them an email last week and told him. The info i would like from their rep is when is my dealers allocations slotted for? Then once they get allocation then it will schedule in a month or so. Just because they can submit an order into the system doesnt mean they are already allocated the order.
Most likely ford will be allocating and then scheduling the dealers with the most allocations first (usually the largest dealers or who sells the most F150's)
