The same friend who works at the KC plant (obviously not where the Raptor will be produced) said it takes less than 10 hours to build a Raptor, start to finish. If that's true, how many they crank out per day would depend upon the number of assembly lines that are running them.

If they're only being produced at Dearborn then thats a good thing as '17 production starts there before KC.

It doesnt take any longer to build a Raptor than it does a normal f150. Its an assembly line and all that changes are the specific parts and frame that get bolted together on the line.

There are plenty of videos on assembly lines and cars being built.

Ill try and find Toyota's how its made on the Tacoma. They show they can send a standard Tacoma down the line and have a TRD PRO being built between two other standard Tacomas with zero issues since its just specific parts being thrown on that specific model. The parts show up as the trucks do so the techs just bolt on what needs to be on each specific model on the line.

Its all modular.
