Why are you calling JDM? Did they install the pedal max ?
Oops. I meant JMS.

So I picked it up, Ford didn't charge me a penny even though they spend around 2 hours on it. Really amazing service. They said to run it and they're equally curious about the issue.

Truck drove perfectly fine on the way home, glad it wasn't serious!

More shit quality control from Ford. For ***** sakes! When is all of this shit going to end? Having a harness melt to the point of killing the truck could put someone in a really ****** situation real quick. I hope everyone goes and checks their truck. It's not worth the risk. Ford better step up their game. Guys are shelling out some serious $$$$ for this shit show and it's not fair to the guys that have been commited from the beginning to get the shaft!

Please add this to the thread where the rest of the 17' Raptor problems are posted so everyone else can be aware!

Doing it now. Putting this one on the top!

Ive seen it in a post here twice. I am currently digging through the post so that I can send you guys straight to it. Do not worry, I am not a fear monger, I am very happy with my Gen2. Just trying to help out.

Sorry Guys. The post is on another raptor forum. Apparently, I cannot tell you the site on this site, but try looking under raptor forums, spelling needs to be manipulated. A Gen 2 guy, experiencing similar problems, had his wiring harness hitting his exhaust. Harness had to be replaced. He did post picks. Can be found on that forum under the 2017 section, "Problems with my Raptor" Hope this helps.

HINT, replace the "s" in forums with a "Z"

I have read two of these posts also on other forums. I can agree this has happened, or at least been posted as happening.

Glad you are sorted out bro. I feared the worst. Damn good feeling when something cause wrong (well not When it goes wrong), you start sweating it and find out it was caused by a mod and all is good.

Enjoy the truck

I'm just hoping JMS acknowledges it and has a fix.

Update from JMS. They've sold a ton of these, and they have five people with the exact same issue. They are working through it with me.

I'm really glad this is the issue and not something else. It's easily reversed and they assure me it'll be solved.

As someone asked earlier in the thread, what's the best vantage point to check on this wiring harness to see if it's too close or touching exhaust parts? Thanks!

Crickets.... too much BS and very little help given here unless someone sees it as an opportunity to show off or argue.
