I can't imagine anyone missed the squeaking on my truck on that trip. It was so loud people 50 yards in any direction could hear it. It just got worse over time. After three weeks of trying to find the issue, we found the problem yesterday.
My driver's side UCA was missing a nut from the rear bolt attaching it to the frame. My secondary bypass shock was covering up the missing nut. By the time I found it, the bolt had backed out almost all the way into the coilover upper shock mount. I was replacing my RPG UCAs with the new SVC UCAs when we spotted the problem. No more squeaking and no more disaster waiting to happen!
