Is it safe to mount the compressors upside down? I thought I saw something that said you weren't supposed to?
Your not supposed to.
I suggest the compressor mounting bracket that is on Amazon and mount it in your bed tucked under a bed rail. Ensure the intake is protected from mud.
Be sure to wire the compressor to a switch. It should only run while the truck is running. Otherwise the voltage draw on just the battery can damage the compressor.
Horns under the bed work well. But add you heard Sunday morning, one of mine is not working properly. Could have been all the White Lake mud and water thus February. They look clean, but something is up.
For that big ass tank. Only place under the truck is the location @
Hole Shot and I have used (if you want to retain your spare tire under the bed). Otherwise you got to put it in the bed.
