Starting with the 2019's, they got the live valve shocks, better than the previous versions. I drove an used (very low miles) and a new 19, the ride was noticeably better on the 19 so I bought it new.I have a 2017 and I can’t even imagine wanting to trade up. Mine has been flawless and the 2020’s are still almost identical.
Now when the Gen3 comes out in 2022 or 2023, that may be a different story.
If there are good deals to be had on new trucks, Just think of how ****** your trade in value is going to be. A warranty isn't worth the loss of trading in and paying for a new truck that is essentially the same.
