I had two Tundras and a Tacoma before my Raptor. I’ve had my Raptor nearly two years and I still don’t regret trading my most recent Tundra for it.

Not sure if any of you saw the new consumer reports on trucks. The Tacoma was in the top 5 ( or ten ? ) LEAST reliable trucks and the F150 did not even make the list. Just saying. I work with 4 guys that have Tacomas as they always talk about how great they are. I think they suck. Super uncomfortable and gutless. There is no comparison, unless your grandma or sister needs a narrow truck to go to the grocery store, then **** it is !

thanks! It’s real nice to have during the winter when you need to haul things and want to keep them dry.

FYI to anyone considering a top though, my TRD had a leer with Thule bars. New top is an ARE with Yakima bars. Both Are the newer aero bars. The Thule was quiet. I was immediately disappointed in the Yakima. Sounds like I have a teapot on the burner in the back seat soon as I get over 30 mph. I removed the bars and the whistle was gone. Tomorrow I’m going to put the Thule bars on the ARE to see if my theory that the Yakima tower design is the cause of it.

I have yakima bars on my ARE. The windfaring is a must. I don't hear anything anymore.

I had the same issue with the “whistling racks” on my Jeep, my issues were resolved with mounting rubber strips in the bar channels both top and bottom.

I too had a Tacoma and 2 Tundras before I traded in my 2018 Tundra for a 2019 Raptor, no regrets so far. Everytime I look at my Raptor it puts a smile on my face.
