OK so I will say this and remember im comparing 2 vehicles i own and owned..if i was comparing an 07 f150 to and 07 tundra..i would not know anything about the 07 f150 so i am going with my own opinion and ownership. 07 tundra with 5.7 4x4..in my opinion most bang for a truck reliability I'd go with the tundra vs a 07 f150 period. My 2012 f150 4x4 5.0 was OK. Stock vs stock...my 07 tundra is a better truck as far as power. Torque and reliability. In my opinion. Resell value. F150 from my Era vs tundra...tundra always is showing up worth more and more reliable. This is my opinion again. So remember I'm speaking from ownership.myself. 330k miles on my tundra. Here are the parts that 100% broke and had to be fixed that left me stranded.......starter....245k miles the year...2018. That's it...nothing else at all..to this day. The f150 2012 coyote...rear main seal leak at 93k...fuse 27 left me dead in the water ( didn't know this was even an issue till it blew about 7 fuses under the hood). Other than that I sold the f150 with 175k miles. I could of sold my tundra but truly...the 07 tundra vs the 2012 f150...I'll take that 5.7 over that 5.0 coyote all day long. Sorry that motor is not impressive at all. Not stock. I do understand the difference between the 2 trucks and the fact that my 07 tundra has a 5.7 vs a 5.0....and that my 07 has 4:10 gears vs 3:73 in the f150. Now my raptor vs the tundra....Raptor all day long period. But that's not comparing apples to apples or even close. I'm picking the raptor for what it is over any 1/2 truck period. If I needed a work vehicle it wouldn't be a raptor and probably not a f150 either. But I don't so I enjoy my raptor lol. I coach and do the guard thing...if I need to tow anything big...I live in the country...I've got plenty of buds to help me out if the tundra can't handle it. But since the 07 tundra hauled a space shuttle then I can haul anything I want
