Since the studs didn’t line up, I took them off, allowing the whole filter/shield assembly to slide rearward, giving clearance to the coolant tube. Mine sits flat on the factory rubber grommets and has decent room to adjust before tightening down the connection to the engine. It appears the slots in the shield need more travel to accommodate this issue and still use the billet studs.

Good looking! What's your feedback on it?

More whine than stock?
Are IAT's any lower?
Truck feel any stronger?
Install was pretty straight forward and easy.

The whine isn’t any louder or more noticeable which was slightly disappointing.

Temps I can’t say yet since we’ve been pretty cold lately and I do my driving early morning and evening.

The truck seems to accelerate a bit smoother, it likes its anticipating the acceleration into the shift point better. If that makes sense…

Just an additional follow up,

IAT this morning,

Ambient air temp was 16-26 degrees by the time I got into work approximately 50 mile drive from the prairie through Denver.

IAT ranged from 91-98 degrees with temps typically dropping a couple degrees after heavy throttle input.

Thanks for the feedback.

Not too many with these and I've been wanting to know that info. Sounds like real world info too. So not much on white or IAT's. Not shocked though.

I'm seeing similar IAT's with higher ambients so might just be an engine bay temp thing.

Yesterday on my way home through stop and go traffic and ambient air temps around 50 degrees, I hovered around 95-98 degrees. Than once I hit the open highway and got up to speed I dropped back down to 91-93 degrees.
