I see far more snow than I do sand, and airing down can give the traction needed in sand. I’m not buying tires for a long while as my Raptor has 414 miles on it as of this morning.

They make MT and RT with load range C. MT is heavy but the RT isn't bad.

Their spec sheet shows 34.5” tall and 11.4” wide. BFG lists the stock 315 at 34.4” tall and a section width of 12.7” and tread width of 10.6”. Basically these Toyo’s are .1” taller and overall 1.3” narrower. Toyo doesn’t list the tread width separately, but if it were close to the BFG it should be 9.3” wide. They might look too narrow on a truck with beadlocks since the face of the wheel sticks out farther.

You just run less pressure. I noticed zero change in ride quality between the OEM D range BFG's tires that were still on my truck at 44psi, and switching to Nitto E range tires and running 38-40psi.

He was referring to the GEN1 coming with D rated and bumping up to E rated. The pressure drop does help for sure depending on what you're running with the C rated.

Is a 35-12.5-17 tire comparable in size to the OEM 315 size?
