Towing Tire Pressure

I am a towing noob and will be getting a trailer full of gravel (4400lbs total) and towing it about 20 miles. Do I need to increase my rear tire pressure? Truck is stock, so just trying to make sure I do what's best for something like this.

In the near future, I'll be towing a 5000lb combined boat trailer semi-regularly but plan on some suspension upgrades to help it long term. Same question for tire pressure here though too. Thanks in advance.

I’d run stock 38 or a pound or two above. As long as all your tires are properly inflated to placard spec, that’s all that matters.

I’d also look for a weight distributing setup for that boat.

One thing to keep in mind with towing is that trailer weight isn't the only thing you need to look at. Gotta make sure your tongue weight is correct, also.

Nailed it on the head for a Raptor, tongue weight is gonna be the first weight problem you run into. Regular F-150's do quite a bit better in that regard but it is the nature of the Raptors.
