Holy Jesus! You used a ******* impact to compress the springs?!

I went 1/4 turn by 1/4 turn, inspecting all the way around each 1/4 turn. I've seen them ******* fly across a shop before destroying anything in their path. Screw that shit! :flipthebird:

You must have big balls, kind sir. :High 5:

If you want to drive over to Huntsville, Al one weekend I have a buddy there that has a lift. He is usually more than willing to let me use it.

I'll do it for a bottle of single barrel Jack Daniels but you'll have to drive to Colorado!!!

HaHa!! I am sure with the vid you mentioned, you would be able to do it yourself. Just be very careful when compressing the springs. If you can not rent the spring compressor, then you will have to figure in the cost of buying the tool.

so $30/hour more than the normal rate of like $65/hr ? did you ask him why? was it because the shocks are shiny?

$65/hr???? Last time this area saw $65/hr was 1986. Labor rates around here are pushing $120/hr. $98/hr doesn't seem too out of line to me.
