If you come down man, we'll do this. It's relatively painless. I did it on my truck without knowing what I was doing -- so now I can do it on yours knowing what I am doing!Ya I hear ya, I should be down there sometime soon on vacation...
I'll do it for a bottle of single barrel Jack Daniels but you'll have to drive to Colorado!!!
HaHa!! I am sure with the vid you mentioned, you would be able to do it yourself. Just be very careful when compressing the springs. If you can not rent the spring compressor, then you will have to figure in the cost of buying the tool.

Wow that's cool you even convinced ford to consider it
I asked mine and they had no clue how to do it nor were they willing
Anyone in souther ca Ventura/ la county area have the tools and wiling to hook a brotha up!!?!
The bulk of the labor is in the R&R of the shocks. If you have the ability to remove them take them to a shop and have them compress the springs and raise the perch. Most any place that does alignments or installs struts will be able to the spring compress and adjustment. Removing and installing the shocks is pretty easy. Very good way to learn more about your truck.
