So ive been in contact with the dealership i got the truck from. I sent them all the videos and posting from this forum and SDHQ (their tutorial is good) and the service manager says 2 hours min on each side... I was like hell no bro, guys here said it took them hour for the first and 30 min for the second. Anyways its $98 an hour.

So now im at square 1 again... Im in Georgia, I will drive an hour or 2 for this mod if anyone wants to have a beer or something. Ill buy too!!

Please i really want this mod but i aint paying over $175. I might try it myself :birgits_tiredcoffee

hhahahahah. i've never had a suspension apart in my life and the second one took like 20 minutes not including putting the wheel back on.

Is it worth attempting? Ive never done anything on cars before my raptor really... If i cant get it back together i dont wanna be stuck and i dont want it to fall apart...

it's very easy and all the bolts are tapered so just tighten them 1/4 from snapping and nothing will fall apart. :D

I'll do it for a bottle of single barrel Jack Daniels but you'll have to drive to Colorado!!!

HaHa!! I am sure with the vid you mentioned, you would be able to do it yourself. Just be very careful when compressing the springs. If you can not rent the spring compressor, then you will have to figure in the cost of buying the tool.

or just wait until you come up to Boston and I'll do it with you.

Ya i might do that BIRD!! Ill be up there end of August... Might be worth the wait. We will have to go 4X4 anyways.

just don't be surprised when i ask you to hold the wheel as i gently ease in behind you to lean over your back and tighten the lug nuts.:supergay:
