A lot of the “feel” is in the transmission and the gas pedal.

Even dropping the 1/4 mile time by 0.5-1 second you aren’t going to feel very much with everything else being equal.

That’s why you are now in love with your MPT tune. You fee every shift and every throttle position change.


So can you really not even tell any gain in power? Simone said this that just installed his. You should really notice a performance tune without any doubt

I bet you can feel a difference between a 12 second car and a 13 second car...

My boost gauge is reflecting about a 2 PSI bump over stock.

I was out messing around in the rain and I realized I can’t go past half throttle or it just spins at 70mph. lol


Question- I was on the street in 4A and sport mode and when I nailed it in first and ran it through 4th gear in between shifts it sounded like the Mercedes AMG’s blipping the throttle. Anyone experience that or is it traction control trying to stop it from spinning?

I definitely noticed an improvement in power when I installed mine. It was through the entire rpm band, after the turbos spooled anyway. And the throttle response was much better.

Also drove like factory, so no perceivable downsides. If this does end up being the “factory” tune, I wouldn’t be surprised. It’s that good.

I wonder if this is a branded version of the Ford Procal programmer?
So, when you buy the V1 programmer, you still need to buy a tune seperately ? So if I buy a new Tomahawk V1 on ebay, I can just buy a tune somewhere for my 2017 Raptor ? If i buy the programmer from whipple direct it's almost 900$, but maybe it comes with a tune. The one on ebay is 580. Will the ebay one work if its new ? I'm trying to wrap my brain around this so pardon my ignorance.

From my understanding Whipple is using ECUTEK software. Normally you would get a key (usb) that works with a USB to OBD2 dongle, all that is licensed to one ECU ID. You can use the dongle on other cars but you’d need a separate USB key for each ECU ID. I’d be careful buying one. You may end up with an expensive code reader.
