The helium atom is very small versus the nitrogen atom, so it'd most likely leak faster.

Nope. Think about it. A good sized helium balloon can't lift more than an ounce or two, and that is at atmospheric pressure. At 40ish psi, you have made the gas significantly more dense than the atmosphere around it, it is no longer "lighter than air".It's a joke but do you think it might actually yield an interesting result?

Not sure about the newest vertical take off/landing fighter out there other than the Marine Core Harrier jump jet. It's British built and been around for decades. I believe there is a new F-35 version that is vertical take off/landing. But not sure I've been out of the fighter jet scene since 95.
... Downfall is that if you offroad and change the pressure a lot it isn't easily accessible ...
so its no big deal if you put regular air in with nitroen
