Tired of the B.S. from Ford.

I am not bailing on the Raptor. I was just really pissed this morning when they were telling me things I knew were false. Sorry to vent on this board. You guys are just the only ones that understand. I want this truck so bad its like a curse that I cant get it here. I thought waiting on the build date was difficult. Knowing I have a built truck just sitting in some parking lot is the worst.

Whats the saying.. A watched pot seems to takes longer to boil... lol... Put it out of your mind and you will get the phone call!!!

Slow process !

Mine was built on the 18th of January, I was told delivery would be on the 6th of Feb , now I just called SVT and they said the 15th Hmmm . Shipping to the west coast , loaded with the hood graphics package >>>>> Ordered October 2011 . Hang in there just like the rest of us

Speck1..... I feel your pain on the waiting thing. I ordered 9/2/11 and still have no build date or vin. Long story but went round and round with the dealer and eventually talked to Ford rep who said they would be pulling mine this month. Several days later get call from the rep who said they made a mistake and mine wont be pulled for build until MARCH!

So I got really upset and went to the local BMW dealer that same day and figured I would just get me one of those. Well as I looked at them it just didn't motivate me like the Raptor does. So here I sit still waiting for my order to be pulled by Ford. I will have to keep working on them I guess.

My truck was built 23 days ago and is still on the Lot in Dearborn. Talked to Ford customer service on Wednesday. They were helpful and gave me a case number. They said they would assign an investigator to figure out why the truck is still there. I was told that i would be contacted next Tuesday with information. Guess I am just the lucky one. At least someone is going to look into the situation. Customer service told me it is very unusual for a vehicle to remain there this long. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Best advice you are getting is right here from Hockster. Dull the pain with some Kracken and put it out of your mind until the phone rings.

It usually does take a couple of days but not the amount of time yours is taking. I know with mine they told me due to the cost of fuel they do not leave until the train car is full and the logistics of the ones with it are all worked out. Not like a train is going to take a right and drop one off over there then come back over here. Lots of logistics with train shipments.

I could understand the train deal if my dealer werent getting shipments of F150's every week. Not going to worry about it just hope they didnt damage it.
