How do I prevent Ford Sync from connecting to the phone when it's been already paired and working with aa wireless

I have aa wireless which lets me run third party apps to watch video, it runs great for a couple of times and then Ford Sync makes a new connection and bypasses aa wireless. In order to fix this I have to clear the cache for Android auto and then reconnect to aa wireless. Is there anyway to bypass Ford Sync to make sure it stays connected to aa wireless?

On sync, go to phone, there is a tab to manage phones, there are 3 icons, just disable the one for CarPlay and leave phone and music enabled.

I can take a pic tomorrow if needed
