You think I should pursue legal action? Like buyback or just to put pressure on them?
You need to put the pressure on. 3+ weeks with no action is not acceptable. It's not like the parts are back ordered or something explainable. They are doing nothing. Without the proper pressure your truck will sit and rot on their lot.

Mechanics only get a set amount per repair from Ford for warranty work and I’m not sure about non-warranty. So, if they think the repair is paid at 4 hours work, and the mechanic can reasonably do it in 4 hours with no interference, etc it’s an easy gig. OTOH if it’s billed at 4 hours and it’s more like a 6 hour job, they’re less motivated to do the work.

Here, I’m not understanding why there’s a delay. There’s nothing modified with the front diff or even remotely related to it. You should be calling Ford C/S every day for updates. Dealer too.

There’s no excuse to not cover the repair given the circumstances you’ve explained.

Called Ford and they started a case. The gentleman I spoke with was really helpful and said It was unacceptable that it has taken this long. He said he would call the service manager at the dealership and follow up with me on Wednesday. Hopefully things actually start happening. I just want my damn truck back! I have never had a car in a shop this long.

Well Wednesday has come and gone (based on their hours). Rep said he would call me by 12 and I have still heard nothing. I'm going to follow up tomorrow. This is pretty damn unacceptable and frustrating! This may very well be my last Ford. Sorry to vent.

Keep calling Ford and the dealership, took me several calls to both to get anyone to do something about my issue. They are not proactively looking to help you, so make it your objective to keep on them and remind them both you are the customer and none of this is acceptable. Sucks it had to be this way, hopefully someone will care and do the right thing for you and get the Raptor fixed.

thank you! Still nothing. The dealership stopped calling me back. Ford has an escalation team looking into it but they haven’t called me back in a couple days so I’m looking into pursuing legal action. I think 5 weeks is enough time. I’m pretty pissed about it and I’m tired of ubering around everywhere! I’m calling corporate again and if I don’t get a solid answer I’m calling a lawyer.

Mine is in the shop right now for the front differential, I was making a clacking noise so I inspected and it seems I somehow broke the upper mount bolt off on the driver side. The diff is leaking from the snout as well as the front cover. I dropped it off last Tuesday so we will see if I get it back from them anytime soon. Side note oil pan is leaking again so they will be putting the 4th one on in 32,*** miles. I requested that they put a metal pan on and I would pay for parts since the front axle is going to be out. We shall see what I get...

not the case here and I wish the OP luck but
Once again
Threads like these and my own personal experiences with Ford made me a believer once the factory warranty is done to never extend it

I've been lucky when it comes to extended warranties.

Wifes Ecoboost 3.5L developed a oil leak between the head and block at 61k miles.
That ~2k warranty paid for itself there after the tear down and new parts.
Sold the truck shortly after and got the prorated refund from the remaining warranty.

That and AC issues and steering pumps on my older Gen 1 after 36k were replaced for free.

I think this case is more of a lazy dealer service area than the actual warranty.
